Korea trip in spring - Recommended place with full of yellow flowers and beautiful nature, Baeksa Sansuyu village
When you are in Korea during the spring time, you could see a lot of flowers and beautiful scene with Cherry blossom, however, in short time, you could see also pretty yellow flower called "Sansuyu" or "Sansooyou" (Cornus fruit flower)
The Sansuyu village is full of sansuyu trees, yellow and It is ecstasy.
The festival is on 1.April ~ 3.April in 2016 (every year, the date changed)
and it's really short time, because the flower blossom is really short.
The address of the festival : Gyeonggi-do, Icheon-si, Baeksa-myeon, Dorip-ri, 667
Unfortunately, the place is hard to go with public transportation.
It's better you would have a rental car or your own car.
During the festival time, they have a shuttle bus as well, every 20 mins.
If you need a shuttle bus, you need to arrive at Icheon terminal, when you go out, you should look for "Grand wedding hall"
It located near terminal, walk 2min from terminal, you could find it easily, but if you don't know, just ask people, where is the "grand wedding hall", and if they are from Icheon city, They know directly.
you should wait in front of the wedding hall, and It will come every 20mins according to Homepage, (http://www.2104sansooyou.com/)
If you use the taxi from the terminal .. it will cost more than 10000 won, I guess 10-20 dollars or more.
If you have your own car, I recommend, get there near the festival time
because during the festival time, It's full with people, but also a lot of spectacle.
(Selling booth, a lot of experiences.. etc)
I like to see just beautiful landscape, and nature, so I love to be there near the festival time
and can see beautiful flowers, and take a lot of pics without a lot of people
you could see not only Sansuyu, but also Cherry blossom tree.
It is really fantastic to see pink color inside yellow flowers. The view was really amazing.
When I see all the flowers are bloom on the trees, I understood why people love spring, and I love spring too.
If you get to Korea in spring time, especially early in the April or End of March time,
(Early in the april is better)
try to get to Icheon Sansuyu village. you could see really beautiful scene in spring.
